see url Anyone who plans a visit to the lakes of The Rocky Mountains in Alberta, Canada, probably heard about Lake Louise or Moraine Lake. Of course they are beyond beautiful and shouldn’t be skipped by. But then there is this one overlooked treasure which should rightfully stand alongside. Bow Lake with the astonishing Simpson’s Num-Ti-Jah Lodge.
http://salsiando.com/finelit/4058 We were lucky to spend two months at this unreal place, working in the lodge. Place where you can admire so much of the Canadian nature jewels everyday. Beginning with the turquoise water of the lake caused by melting of the Bow glacier (very simply said, but you can learn more about the crazy colors of Canadian lakes at banffandbeyond.com) and ending with meeting the incredible creatures such as bears or moose. I will never forget seeing a grizzly momma with her cubs (luckily they weren’t that close so they hadn’t seen me) during my afternoon jog around the lake.
