Easy foolproof way how to make ghee at home.
The peckish girl:
  • 500g organic or grass fed butter
  • Pot
  • Glass jar with a lid
  • Funnel (resistant to high temperatures)
  • Muslin cloth
  1. Cut the butter in few pieces and place it in a pot.
  2. Place the pot over medium heat.
  3. Let the butter simmer for 10 minutes. Make sure it's not burning, lower the heat immediately if it starts to smell.
  4. Pour the butter in a glass jar over muslin cloth to separate the fat from the undesirable milk solids.
  5. Once the ghee cools down put the lid on ans store it in a fridge.
